National Day of Action for Safer Chemicals

Kid_in_capeFBinvite_paddingWednesday, August 10th is Action Day for Safe Chemicals!

CEH, the Coalition for Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families and moms and kids across the country will come together for a national day of action to ask our senators to support a policy that protects us and our children from chemicals linked to cancer, birth defects, asthma, and other serious illnesses.

Join families in your state to show support for a toxic-free future.  Families across the country will be participating in local events to ask their Members of Congress to be leaders in protecting American families from toxic chemicals.

These kid-friendly events will feature activities from letter writing to sign making (fun for the kids).  We'll even have red super hero capes and masks for the kids to wear, asking their Senator to "be a hero and co-sponsor the Safe Chemicals Act!"  Most events will feature a stroller brigage where you'll walk to your Senator's office to hand deliver letters of suppor for the Safe Chemicals Act."  Bring your strollers and tell your friends!
