The Center for Environmental Health works to protect children and families from health threats related to toxic chemical exposures – health threats like cancer, birth defects, lead poisoning, and asthma.

Our air, food, and water all contain fewer toxic chemicals because of CEH’s work. Products that families use every day are safer because of our work too, including items like baby bibs, jewelry, lunchboxes, diaper cream, toys, and playground equipment. CEH’s work is effective because we combine several strategies – we build market incentives, we create sound public policy, and we raise public awareness so that you can protect yourself and take action to influence decision makers. Learn more about us at ceh.org and our action center, generationgreen.org.
