Webinar: Addressing Chemicals of Concern on Campus: Furniture Purchasing

Today much of the furniture on college campuses contains toxic flame retardants and other chemicals of concern that can cause cancer and that have been linked to birth defects, learning problems, and other serious health hazards. Remarkably, government studies show that flame retardants do not provide added fire safety benefits in furniture and many of the other chemicals are simply not needed. Preferring furniture without these chemicals of concern is a cost-neutral or even cost saving effort and will contribute to the health of your campus.
